Header Photograph

For those who are interested in the image I’ve used for the header, I took it a couple of years ago on the descent from climbing Cader Idris, in Snowdonia, North Wales UK. At the stage I took this view we were still high enough to look down on planes from the RAF carrying out exercises. To get the panoramic format I montaged two photographs together.
The name means ‘Chair of Idris’. Idris was a giant in Welsh mythology who used the mountain as a seat to allow him to look up at the stars.
I use it as a header image because it sets the tone and……..I like the play on the word ‘views’ I use in the site strapline. Sorry.
